Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Database Engineer to design and
develop scalable databases for high transaction volume systems.
Key Responsibilities
Optimize stored procedures and design database schemas based on
business requirements
Document schema designs and maintain data dictionaries, while
reviewing SQL code for compliance and performance
Troubleshoot performance issues and create SSIS packages for data
transformation and management
Required Qualifications
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or
related discipline with 10+ years of experience, or M.S. with 8+
years
At least 6 years of hands-on SQL Server development experience
Proficient in SQL Server Transact SQL, including triggers, stored
procedures, and user-defined functions
Strong understanding of database maintenance best practices and SQL
Server concurrency features
Familiarity with other open-source relational database systems like
MySQL or Postgres is a plus
