Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Policy Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage clinical and coding products, collaborating with
Medical Directors and Innovation Teams
Leverage data analysis to innovate Itemized Bill Review strategies
and perform research for coding targets
Refine claim selection methodologies and monitor program
performance, recommending improvements as needed
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in reviewing/auditing ICD-10 CM/PCS,
MS-DRG, and proficiency with encoder products
Inpatient Medical Coding Certification (e.g., CCS, CIC, RHIA, RHIT)
or other coding certifications with inpatient coding experience
Strong research skills related to state and federal regulations,
clinical policies, and coding guidelines
Expertise in Itemized Bill Review product development and
enhancements
Extensive experience with inpatient and outpatient billing and
coding audits
