Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30) Guaranteed Hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period Experience: Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required License: Valid CA License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - CV recovery experience preferred - EPIC charting experience preferred Job Description: - Provide high-quality critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2. - Float between like units and potentially to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed. - Willingness to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. - Adhere to the hospital's protocol and guidelines. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Complete required modules pre-start and annually, averaging 16 hours. - Participate in a 40-hour orientation program. - Ensure the proper use of communication devices for work-related purposes. - Seek out and organize housing options, being mindful that availability may be limited. - Submit supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting.
