  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Med/Surg RN for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have 2-3 years of experience in specialty
    • Previous travel experience required
    • Must be a team player
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hr shifts 6:45-7:15
      • 4 weekend shifts in 4 week schedule
      • First to Float
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: Med Surg
        • 30 beds in unit
        • Nurse Aides: 2 on days and 1 on nights
        • Patient Ratios: 1 to 5
        • EMR: Cerner
        • Charge Nurse: clinical supervisor, will do break relief and do not take patient assignment
        • Floating: to tele 1:4 ratio could also float between med/surg floors
        • Floor specific orientation: 1 shift on unit
        • Common diagnosis/Types of patients: medical patients and post op/surgical patient population
        • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: hospitalist 24/7
        • IV Team: no
        • RT 24/7: yes
        • Pharmacy 24/7: yes
          • Additional Details
          • BLS, COVID Vaccine Required (Certification)
