Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Shasta Regional Medical Center. • Deliver safe and effective patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, prioritizing patient needs and responding to changes in their condition.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel, maintaining standards of professional nursing care.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members, reporting changes in patient condition and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment, maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality, adhering to EMTALA regulations and reporting requirements.Requirements
  • Valid professional license and certification, verified through primary source verification.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification, or equivalent.
  • Proof of up-to-date vaccinations and immunizations, including COVID-19 and flu vaccines.
  • Annual respirator fit test, with documentation of successful testing.
  • Valid National Criminal Background Check, completed within one year of start date.
  • Completed and uploaded required credentials, including a clear headshot photo and updated information.
