Providence St. Joseph Hospital is seeking an inpatient
Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Eureka,
California. This is a full-time position with a tenured, passionate
and collaborative group that works closely together. The role
involves providing consultative services and collaborating with
hospitalists and intensivists on patient care in a high-needs
community with many acute cases. The regional team, which includes
Napa, Sonoma, and Eureka, offers extensive support. The ideal
candidate is a strong team player with experience working with
interdisciplinary teams, comfortable with independent practice, and

- Full time role to include some weekend hours; no evenings
- Flexible schedule - 4 or 5 days per week
- 100% inpatient at the hospital
- Experience in hospice and/or palliative care, geriatric
medicine or oncology preferred

- No call responsibility
- Compensation is between $144,673 and $186,749 per year
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total
compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives
related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends,
extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as
applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically
receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical
group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in
accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the
