  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Med/Surg Ortho RN for a travel assignment.
  • The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience, hold an active BLS and CA license.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have 2-3 years of experience in specialty
    • Must have travel experience
    • Must be a team player
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hr shifts 6:45-7:15
      • 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 17 beds in unit
        • Ratios: 1 to 5
        • EMR: Cerner
        • Charge Nurse: Clinical supervisor - no pt assign, they will do break relief
        • Nurse Aides: 1 nurse aide for 8 hrs of day
        • Weekends: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule
        • Holidays: work into perm staff rotation
        • Scrub Color: navy
        • Tele: portable tele box if needed, they do have monitor tech, nurses must be able to read and interpret, will have to take dysrhythmia exam
        • Vents: no
        • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: hospitalist on 24/7
        • IV Team: no
        • RT 24/7: yes
        • Pharmacy 24/7: yes
        • Floating: to tele 1 to 4 ratio, could also float between medsurg floors
        • Floor specific orientation: 1 shift of orientation to unit
        • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: hips, knees, shoulders, spine, no drips
          • Additional Details
          • HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE CONSIDERED, HOWEVER IT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED
