  • Job Details
  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Tele RN for a travel assignment.
  • The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2+ years of experience as Tele RN.
    • Hold an active BLS, ACLS and CA license.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts are 12 hours, 6:45 to 7:15.
      • Schedules are made about 2-3 weeks ahead initially, then they try to schedule them out 9 weeks in advance.
      • Self-scheduling for the most part.
      • 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.
      • Work into perm staff rotation.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: IMCU (2 West)
        • Beds in unit: 30 beds.
        • Ratios: 1 to 3-4 patients per nurse.
        • Floating: float to Tele - 2Central or Tele - 4West.
        • Floor specific orientation: 1 shift on unit.
        • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: CHF, COPD, Renal failure, pneumonia, will have drips but will not have to titrate.
          • Additional Details
          • COVID Vaccine Required.
          • NIHSS required.
          • Telemetry, L/D, Emergency, and Critical Care RN's will take a proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite, day one. This is a PASS/FAIL test.
