The 267-bed hospital offers major medical services including a Level II Trauma Center as well as specialized Cardiovascular Care Stroke Care Orthopedics Neurological Surgery Comprehensive Cancer Care Maternity Care and da Vinci Robotic Surgery. It is the sole provider of obstetrical services along with the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Shasta County. As one of the area's largest non-profit employers we are proud to give back to the community by providing many programs and services to benefit overall health.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:The incumbent is responsible for administration and direct application of Speech/Language Pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. The incumbent evaluates plans directs and treats all patients referred to speech/language. The incumbent also provides pathology treatments to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury.We possess the new Olympus Tower to perform FEEsQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Current California Speech/Language Pathologist license requiredOne year of experience as a speech therapistKnowledge and ability to perform a speech pathology assessment and evaluation requiredKnowledge of principles concepts diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for speech therapy requiredWorking knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite requiredCurrent BLS certification required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)Preferred Qualifications:One year of home care experience preferredPay Range$40.75 - $59.09 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
